Directions to Campus

Below are directions to the Shaw University's Raleigh Main Campus, located at 118 E. South Street, Raleigh, North Carolina. If you would like detailed directions to a particular location on campus, please refer to the campus map. 

• From I-40 East take exit 299, veer right onto Hammond Rd/Person St.  Continue on Person St. in the left lane, next turn left onto South St., at stoplight turn left onto Blount St. continue in the left lane.  After traveling under the bridge prepare to turn left into parking area (Gate7).
• From I-40 West take exit 299, turn left at the light onto Hammond Rd/Person St.  Continue on Person St. in the left lane, next turn left onto South St., at stoplight turn left onto Blount St. continue in the left lane.  After traveling under the bridge prepare to turn left into the parking area (Gate 7).

Available parking for New Student Orientation is located near the intersection of S. Blount Street and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.

Please note that parking on the street is restricted, pay close attention to signage for details.
