Caps/Gowns/Invitations

Prospective graduates attending Commencement Exercises may order products (announcements, caps and gowns, diploma frames, etc.) from Herff Jones through the following link by March 1st at 11:59 p.m.

Tips for Ordering Online:

• Know your degree type before ordering. Degree Offerings
  • BA, BS, BSW, MS, MDiv or MACE
    
• There is no additional charge for your cap & gown.
  • Cost for cap, gown and tassel is included with the graduation fee, paid to Student Accounts.
    • Contact Student Accounts via email to sa@shawu.edu
    • Be sure to leave contact phone number and student ID#
  • There is a charge for other graduation products which is paid online to Herff Jones.
  • Your cap and gown order will be available for pick up from the Bookstore beginning May 1st. All other graduation products will be delivered to your address. More information on picking up your cap and gowns will be sent as we move closer to graduation

Notes:  

•  Please place orders prior to the deadline
• Only the costs for the cap, gown, and tassel are included in the graduation fee. 
• Women who plan to wear heels with the cap and gown should add two (2) inches to their height measurement. 
• Please include your exact weight for the best fitting of the cap and gown. 
• Generic graduation announcements are available in the Shaw University Bookstore.
• All caps and gowns will be shipped to the Shaw University Bookstore (in the Willie E. Gary Student Center).
• Students who have completed the Graduation Clearance Process may pick up the cap and gown from the Bookstore.
