Active Minds
Active Minds is a nationally recognized non-profit organization that empowers students to speak openly about mental health. It also focuses on educating and encouraging others to seek help. Active Minds is a student run organization and was established
at Shaw University in Spring 2013. Its aim is to remove the stigma that surrounds mental health issues and create an environment that promotes open conversations campus wide.
