Welcome to Shaw University - Kannapolis! Located just minutes from vibrant Downtown Kannapolis, and less than 30 miles from Charlotte, Shaw University-Kannapolis has served the educational needs of working adult learners in the Greater Kannapolis/Charlotte area since 1985.

Dedicated on-site staff are available to assist you with all of your questions regarding admissions, advising, financial aid, career services, internships, and academic support services. Shaw-Kannapolis offers a combination of classroom, video teleconferencing (VTC), and online classes, so that you have a choice in course options that work best for your schedule, preferences, and learning style.

The Shaw-Kannapolis Campus features over 4,000 square feet of flexible academic space for teaching, learning, and collaboration, including eight classrooms, a computer lab, a Learning Resource Center, and a student/faculty lounge.
